But he's the man behind the curtain, pulling all the right strings to make the IMC magic happen. He's been promoting indie music for ages, like, back when some of us still thought Myspace was cool. He created IMC in 2017 because, well, he knows the power of music and the community is like peanut butter and jelly – they just belong together. When Niko's not tirelessly working on making IMC the indie haven it is, he's probably jamming to music that doesn't even exist yet or holding conversations with his vinyl records (they have great stories to tell). Luna, the talented indie singer-songwriter, adds a delightful twist to the IMC family. She found IMC the way some people find hidden treasure chests, with her song submission resulting in a beautiful review. That's right, she walked the same path as the artists she now supports in the Artist Pick column. Luna even hosts her own radio show called "Why Doesn’t Everyone Know These Songs" to champion indie artists. When she's not sharing her musical expertise, she's likely creating songs that could make angels weep or sharing heartwarming stories with her two faithful companions, her microphone and her pen.
Joe is the guy bringing some American charm and a hearty dose of indie music passion to IMC. He's a singer-songwriter himself, with albums, EPs, and playlists to his name. He curates songs and organizes a global artist community – basically, he breathes music. Joe joined IMC in 2021, and ever since, he's been writing articles in the Artist Pick column to introduce the world to indie artists who deserve more recognition. When he's not penning masterpieces, he's hanging out in Atlanta with his wife Cynthia and their animal band, Trouble, Murphy, and Aubie.
Anna is the IMC team's melody-making maestro. She's been crafting music since time immemorial and decided to share her passion with the world on Soundcloud. Music holds a special place in her heart, be it in her own songs or in those of fellow artists. Since June 2022, she's been working on the "Artist Pick" column, adding her thoughts to the musical smorgasbord alongside Joe and Luna. When she's not making musical magic, she's probably out exploring the beautiful German landscapes or talking to her keyboard like it's an old friend.
